Liu Min 刘敏老师

 

Liu Min, female, born in 1958, from Qingdao, Shandong, graduated from the Department of History of Jiangxi Normal University, majoring in archaeology. She has been engaged in cultural and cultural work for more than 3 decades, and is committed to Chinese cultural heritage protection research and field examination work.


She was also part of the team that was involved in the discovery of Dongxiang Shangchi represented by Wang Anshi's hometown Lili of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It was successfully declared as the "provincial protection" unit in the historical and cultural villages in Jiangxi. 


In additional, Teacher Liu has also been involved in many other cultural works as below:

  • Deputy Director of Jiangxi Provincial Museum

  • Member of the National Palace Museum Society

  • Member of the Heritage Identification Expert Group

  • Member of the Steering Group of the Third National Census of Cultural Relics

  • CCTV Jianbao column as special expert

  • Member of Shu Tong Calligraphy Research Association

  • Shenzhen Hongtai Art Management Co., Ltd. as treasure expert

Teacher Liu has rich experience in the research of ancient ceramics and various antique treasures, particularly in-depth in the research on Hutianbao in Jingdezhen of the Song Dynasty 

 

Teacher Liu has made great achievements in the long-term cultural relics work, and has been led by leaders and peers in the cultural relics industry and she has won much praise over the years.

Yen Wing Fong

 

Born in 1947, Mr Yen, a civil engineer by training, specialized in the collecting of ancient Chinese jade, bronze, gold and silver antiques since the 1980s. He owns one of the largest private collections in these three types of Chinese relics of ancient art. 

With nearly four decades of research and having studied a large quantity of these beautiful and magnificent antiques, Mr Yen has gained a deep command in the areas of authentication and connoisseurship of Chinese jade, bronze, gold and silver antiques. 

His engineering background has served him well in gaining a deep knowledge of the material and construction analysis of the ancient collections, further cementing his authentication skills that anyone can come near.

With a strong ability to read and write both Chinese language and English well, Mr Yen poured through thousands of book on Chinese history, auction catalogues and private collections that are printed in both Chinese and English. He has also acted as the book translator for an action house in Asia and co-authored on the book “Appreciating Chinese Bronzes Vol.1”.
